Finding a Drywall Contractor You Can Trust

Most homeowners in Western Mass have a horror story about a contractor who vanished halfway through a kitchen remodel. It usually starts with a low quote and ends with a pile of dusty drywall sitting in the middle of your living room for three weeks. Trust comes from reputation and showing up, not from a flashy truck or a generic business card.

The "Ghosting" Problem

The biggest tell of a bad contractor is the communication gap. If it takes three days to get a text back about a simple quote, it will take three weeks to get them to finish your ceiling. We don't play those games. We give you a straight timeline and we actually stick to it. They should also show up in a vehicle that shows they are profitable. It doesn't have to be a brand new truck but if they are driving a 1998 Ford explorer you have to question if they are a reputable contractor.

In the trades, people often settle for "good enough" because they are tired of being ignored. You shouldn't have to chase someone to spend your money. We treat your schedule like it actually matters.

Quality You See Before the Paint

A lot of guys use thick paint to hide a mess. They hope you won't notice the wavy seams or the poorly sanded corners until the check clears and they are onto the next town. We take the opposite approach.

We want you to inspect the drywall while it is still raw. If the tape isn't flat and the mud isn't smooth, the paint will never look right. We show you the work at every stage so there are no surprises when the lights go on.

No Hidden Fees or "Surprise" Costs

We don't like surprises any more than you do. If a job is going to be difficult because of old plaster or weird framing, we tell you before we start. You get a clear price that stays the same even if the job takes an extra hour of sanding.

No Money Up Front

Perhaps the biggest way many have been ripped off by contractors over the years is by getting money up front. Then the excuses start of why they cant start this week and will be there next week. After a month your stuck with no drywall and 1/2 your drywall budget gone. Now you have to find another contractor to do the work. When you call the police they tell you its a business matter and you have to go through the court system. We save you the anxiety and only get paid after work is completed. If its a large job we may get paid half when half of the work is done.

Stop dealing with the typical contractor drama. If you want someone who respects your house and actually finishes what they start, give MrWalls a call. We just get the job done.
